Guy Fieri and FACE Amusement Group to host official ribbon cutting for Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Guy Fieri and FACE Amusement Group will host the official ribbon cutting of Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Myrtle Beach Mall.

The public is invited to attend the outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Emmy Award-winning chef and television personality Guy Fieri, FACE Amusement Group executives, community leaders and special guests.

Following the public ribbon-cutting ceremony, access to the venue will be limited to local first responders, contest winners and other invited guests. The facility will reopen for normal business on Sept. 11, 2026.

The ceremony marks the official ribbon cutting for the dining and entertainment destination, which opened to guests earlier this summer.

Developed in partnership with Guy Fieri, Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach expands on the success of the brand’s flagship location in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The 50,000-square-foot Myrtle Beach attraction combines dining, gaming and entertainment under one roof, featuring a full-service Guy Fieri restaurant with seating for approximately 460 guests, more than 100 arcade games, 14 bowling lanes, the signature Freaky Tiki Bar, craft cocktails and private event rooms accommodating groups of more than 80 guests.

“We’re excited to officially celebrate Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach with the Grand Strand community,” said Bucky Mabe, CEO of FACE Amusement Group. “The response since opening has been tremendous, and this ribbon cutting is an opportunity to recognize everyone who helped bring this incredible destination to life. We wanted to create a place where families, friends, locals and visitors could eat, play and make memories together, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests to experience everything Downtown Flavortown has to offer.”

At the heart of Downtown Flavortown is a full-service restaurant featuring many of Fieri’s signature favorites, including Trash Can Nachos, the Bacon Mac ’N’ Cheeseburger and scratch-made dishes, along with a full-service bar offering craft cocktails, beer and specialty drinks.

“Myrtle Beach…it’s time to make it official!” said Guy Fieri. “Downtown Flavortown is all about bringing people together with killer food, real deal drinks and nonstop fun. From the Freaky Tiki Bar to bowling and the huge gaming floor, we’ve built a place where families and friends can make great memories. I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at the ribbon cutting!”

Designed for both Myrtle Beach visitors and Grand Strand residents, Downtown Flavortown brings together dining, arcade gaming, bowling and group entertainment in a single destination. The venue offers an all-weather option for families looking for things to do in Myrtle Beach, as well as a destination for date nights, birthday celebrations, group outings, corporate events and private parties.
