HARRISBURG, Pa. — The International Adventure & Trampoline Parks Association (IATP) is pleased to announce a new partnership with TheHopeLine, a free and confidential crisis chat service that connects students and young adults with a caring Hope Coach 24 hours a day.
Through this partnership, IATP will introduce its members to TheHopeLine’s services and free resources, helping park owners and operators provide an additional source of support for both their employees and guests. Many indoor adventure and trampoline parks employ teens and young adults while also welcoming thousands of young guests each year—exactly the population TheHopeLine is designed to serve.
“This partnership is especially meaningful to IATP because our park owners and operators work so closely with a younger generation,” said Alexis Kierce, Executive Director of IATP. “TheHopeLine gives our members a simple and accessible way to support not only the young people working within their parks, but also the guests and families they serve. We believe making these resources available can have a meaningful impact, and we are proud to help bring greater awareness to this important program.”
TheHopeLine offers young people a free, confidential place to discuss challenges involving school, relationships, emotional well-being, and other areas of life. Hope Coaches are trained, nonjudgmental guides who listen, provide encouragement, and help individuals identify appropriate next steps. The service is available at no cost to parks, employees, or guests.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with IATP and reach the young people who work in and visit its member parks,” said Jen DeJong of TheHopeLine. “A caring connection at the right moment can make a tremendous difference. Through this partnership, we hope to make it easier for park employees and guests to know that free, confidential support is available whenever they need it.”
As part of the program, IATP members may order complimentary resources to display throughout their parks. Available materials include posters, table tents, flyers, QR-code stickers, and pocket-sized crisis cards that connect directly to TheHopeLine. These resources can be placed near front counters, in employee break rooms, restrooms, party rooms, or other accessible areas.
