The wait is over! Energylandia has finally revealed what it has in store for the upcoming season, and thrill-seekers have plenty of reasons to get excited. In spring 2027, Rokan, the tallest and longest Wing Coaster in Europe, will make its debut in Zator, Poland. The new rollercoaster will reach an impressive height of 62 metres, with riders accelerating to speeds of up to 115 km/h. And that is just the beginning of the surprises, as this record-breaking ride will become the centerpiece of an entirely new themed zone called Volana.
So, what exactly is Rokan, and why does the ride promise to be so extraordinary? A Wing Coaster is a special type of rollercoaster in which passengers sit on either side of the track rather than directly above it. Their legs dangle freely in the air, while a clear view below enhances the sensation of truly flying. This feeling becomes particularly intense during dynamic turns, when the ground momentarily disappears from view.
In Rokan’s case, its unique design will be matched by record-breaking specifications. The new rollercoaster’s track will stretch for an impressive 1,215 metres, making it Europe’s record-holder in the Wing Coaster category thanks to its remarkable height and length. The ride itself will last approximately 141 seconds, just over two minutes. The ride will operate with three trains, each consisting of eight rows with seating for 32 riders.
Rokan will be the star attraction of an entirely new themed zone called Volana. Energylandia currently offers 133 attractions spread across seven themed zones, and in spring 2027, this world of entertainment will grow even further. However, the announcement of the record-breaking Wing Coaster is only the first piece of a much bigger puzzle. More details will be revealed gradually, so Energylandia fans should keep their eyes peeled. It looks like the park has plenty more surprises up its sleeve!
But where does the dragon fit into the story? The answer lies in the promotional video announcing the new attraction. Its protagonist comes face to face with a mighty dragon before taking to the skies on its back moments later. The fairytale journey gradually gives way to reality, and the spectacular flight becomes a preview of the thrills visitors will be able to experience on the new rollercoaster.
The announcement also comes at a particularly exciting time. Energylandia took first place in the 2026 Travelcircus rankings, beating attractions such as Germany’s Europa-Park and Disneyland Paris. Out of 112 European theme parks assessed, the park in Zator received the highest score. Now, it is preparing another attraction with record-breaking specifications, one that could draw even more attention from rollercoaster enthusiasts across Europe.
