Preparations for the Halloween season are in full swing at Theme park Toverland. From Saturday 3 October, the park will host 17 family-friendly Halloween Days and 13 spine-chilling Halloween Nights. During Halloween Nights, no fewer than 170 scare actors will take over the park across 6 thrilling scare zones and 6 terrifying Haunted Experiences. New this year is ‘Entwined: The Maze’, a vast 7-hectare maize maze. Europe’s largest Halloween Experience promises a terrifying adventure as brave visitors venture deep into the maize to confront the evil lurking within. Tickets go on sale today. NEW – Entwined: The Maze
For Toverland’s newest Halloween Experience, Entwined: The Maze (separate ticket required), 7 hectares of maize are growing several metres high on the edge of the park. Hidden among the maize lies the forgotten village of Twine End. Once full of life, the village was gradually reclaimed by nature until time itself seemed to stand still. Visitors brave enough to make their way along narrow paths and past crumbling buildings must beware of the threat that lurks in the maize. Among the rustling stalks wander those who could not escape, longing for just one thing: humanity.
Halloween Nights
During the 13 Halloween Nights (recommended for ages 12+), the vault where Toverland keeps all its darker magic bursts open. Following an impressive parade, 170 ghoulish characters take over 6 free scare zones and 6 separately ticketed Haunted Experiences, each with a different theme. Visitors can dance at a vampire ball, enter a circus filled with crazed clowns, march among zombie warriors and wander through a forest of witches. At 22:45 each Halloween Night, a spectacular fireworks display brings the evening to a close, sending all the ghouls back into the vault.
For those who don’t want to miss a thing, there’s the all-in Fear Pass (€69.95). This physical pass provides one-time access to all 6 Haunted Experiences via a faster queue, as well as access to an exclusive viewing area for the Halloween Parade. Individual timed-entry tickets for the Haunted Experiences are also available, priced from €6.50 to €13 per ticket.
Halloween Days
Halloween Days (recommended for children up to the age of 12) are all about family-friendly frights, with exciting Halloween experiences and shows for the whole family. This year, Pumpkin Farm has been completely revamped. Visitors can enjoy thousands of pumpkins and spectacular Halloween creations or explore Magisch Mais Mysterie, a maze full of fun surprises. There is also an easy-to-navigate hay bale maze for the youngest visitors, while witches conjure up even more magic with their Heksenstreken. Frightfully delicious Halloween Specials are available at the park’s restaurants and takeaways, and visitors can shop to their heart’s content in two dedicated Halloween Shops.

Halloween Nights will take place on 3 October, 10 October, 17–19 October, 21–25 October, 31 October, 1 November and 7 November. On Halloween Nights, Toverland will remain open until 23:00, with all attractions open throughout the evening.
