CARLSBAD, Calif. — The stratosphere is getting a Halloween makeover just in time for Brick or Treat! LEGOLAND California Resort is taking its new roller coaster, Galacticoaster, to new heights with all-new Halloween-themed custom spaceship elements bringing out-of-this-world fun to the Resort’s newest land, LEGO Galaxy.
Available throughout the fall season from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1, 2026, the all-new Halloween Spaceship will transform Galacticoaster with 356 Halloween and fall-themed LEGO elements, giving families a fresh way to experience the high-speed coaster while celebrating the season.
On Galacticoaster, guests work in teams of four to design their own spacecraft at Customization Bays by digitally selecting LEGO elements for the nose, tail, wings and a special feature – such as a disco ball or balloons – resulting in more than 625 unique spacecraft combinations. Once their selections are made, guests can see their custom creation come to life as they ride Galacticoaster in the spacecraft they uniquely designed. For a limited time this fall season, these customization elements get a spooky seasonal upgrade, allowing families to select festive new designs before soaring off in their one-of-a-kind spacecraft for a Halloween flight through LEGO Galaxy.
The Halloween Spaceship will add a festive new dimension to the attraction while keeping the thrills rolling for guests with new features including:
- A Monster Fighters-inspired design with a galactic twist: Inspired by the LEGO®Monster Fighters theme, the vehicle features a festive design with a galactic color scheme. Keep an eye on the back of the ship for a fun ghostly BOO!
- A classic roadster-inspired front end: The nose of the ship is reminiscent of a classic roadster with an exposed engine, featuring six bone elements which is a nod to the same elements that appeared on the 2012 LEGO® Lord Vampyre’s Hearse set (9464).
- A mischievious hood ornament: No Halloween-themed vehicle would be complete without an iconic hood ornament. In this case, it’s a Jack-O-Lantern! While the LEGO element is now commonly found in Halloween-themed sets, it was first introduced in 2015 as the Headless Horseman’s head in the LEGO Scooby-Doo line.
Whether families are looking for a little extra Halloween excitement or simply want to experience a favorite attraction in a new way, the Halloween Spaceship adds a festive fall twist to the Galacticoaster experience. The custom Halloween themed sections are scheduled to make a not-so-scary return seasonally in years to come!
The Halloween Spaceship is just one of the many ways LEGOLAND® California Resort is celebrating the fall season. Brick or Treat, running select dates from September 19 to November 1, transforms the Park into mischief town, where kids make the rules, laughter lurks around every corner and Halloween fun is built brick by brick. Designed especially for families with younger children, the celebration offers a full day of family-friendly Halloween fun, included with general admission on event dates. - NEW Brick or Treat Street: Explore an all-new interactive trick-or-treat experience featuring six life-sized LEGO® Monster homes inspired by fan-favorite LEGO®Minifigures, each filled with playful Halloween surprises, treats and hands-on fun.
- NEW The Dragon: Roarsome Halloween Adventure: LEGOLAND California’s iconic coaster, The Dragon, has had a Halloween makeover, do you dare to get on board? Brave your way through LEGO ghosts, toxic spiders and radioactive bats who are taking over the Castle and causing glowing mischief.
- Themed Rides: In addition to the new Halloween spaceship and The Dragon, young drivers can hit the road at the Department of Monstrous Vehicles related to our popular Driving School attractions.
- Live Entertainment: Enjoy the return of fan-favorite shows, including Zombie Cheer Crew, Once Upon a Brick – The Tale of the Wolf Guy and The Monster Rock Off.
- Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch: LEGO® T-Rex Guy turns Dino Valley into his very own fall festival, where families can snag sweet treats and build their very own LEGO pumpkin.
- Monster Meet & Greets: Meet LEGO Monsters including Monster Rocker, Tiger Woman and Mummy.
- The Great Monster Chase 4D Movie: The fan favorite annual tradition returns! Join an action-packed Halloween adventure as LEGO® Monsters race through an exciting 4D experience complete with surprising special effects.
- LEGO® Halloween Tree: The Resort’s LEGO® Halloween Tree returns! Made from more than 680,000LEGO® bricks, this 17-foot-tall creation features twinkling lights, cobwebs, ghosts and playful pumpkins.
- Hands-On Halloween Fun: Families can enjoy brick-building activities, costume contests and Halloween-themed tasty treats throughout the Resort.
For the ultimate Brick or Treat experience, make it a sleepover at one of our two onsite Resort Hotels – LEGOLAND® Hotel or LEGOLAND® Castle Hotel. Staying overnight during Brick or Treat allows families to enjoy easy access to the Park all day long, with plenty of time for costume changes, nightly Brick Boo-gie dance parties and exclusive Halloween themed evening entertainment.
