BESSEMER, Ala. — Alabama Adventure is celebrating the Halloween season with two different fall experiences for guests of all ages. FearFest will bring haunted houses, haunted trails, roaming scare actors, amusement park rides and Halloween-themed food to the park, while the new Adventure Fall Festival will provide a family-friendly fall experience for children and families.
FearFest: Halloween After Dark
FearFest begins October 3 and runs through November 1, with the event taking place on weekends throughout October.
The park will be transformed for the Halloween season with two large haunted houses, two haunted trails, roaming scare actors, amusement park rides and special Halloween food items.
Guests looking for a scare can make their way through two featured haunted houses:
Code Blue takes guests inside a medical facility where a biohazard incident has unleashed something terrifying. What was once a place of healing has become a place of horror, with danger lurking throughout the facility.
Skull Manor transports guests into an abandoned mansion where an innocent attempt to communicate with the unknown has opened the door to something much darker. Guests will explore the mysterious manor while encountering the forces that now inhabit it.
Outside the haunted attractions, scare actors will roam throughout the park, creating unexpected encounters for guests as they make their way between attractions. Alabama Adventure’s amusement park rides will also be operating during FearFest, allowing guests to experience their favorite rides after dark.
FearFest will also feature special Halloween-themed food and drinks available throughout the event.
“FearFest is a new way for our guests to experience Alabama Adventure,” said Alex Ramsey, Marketing Manager. “We’re transforming the park for Halloween and giving guests the opportunity to enjoy haunted attractions, rides, roaming characters, special food and an entire evening of Halloween entertainment.”
