MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Family Kingdom Amusement Park, home to the classic Swamp Fox wooden roller coaster and more than 30 other rides, will be charging into the 2023 season under new ownership.

The seaside property has been purchased by industry veterans Les (Corky) and Debbie Powers and Bill Prescott.

New rides and many property updates are in store when the park opens on April 1.
