RES RIDES continues its international growth with new attractions, industry recognition and several exciting projects already taking shape for the future. The successful IAAPA Expo London was also a great opportunity to connect with new contacts, customers and friends.
With more than 20 industry awards in recent years, RES RIDES continues to strengthen its international presence with new attraction openings and industry recognition.
This success continues in 2026, with two RES RIDES attractions achieving Top 10 positions at the European Star Awards 2026. The newly opened Jellyfish Jump at Nickelodeon Play! in Istanbul was ranked among Europe’s Best New Family Attractions 2026, while Crazy Professor at Conny-Land in Switzerland was once again recognised among Europe’s Best Indoor Rides.
Jellyfish Jump – Nickelodeon Play! Tersane Istanbul
RES RIDES celebrated the opening of Jellyfish Jump at Nickelodeon Play! Tersane Istanbul, the
world’s first SpongeBob SquarePants-themed Interactive Observation Tower.
Designed as a highly themed family attraction, Jellyfish Jump takes guests straight into the colorful underwater world of Bikini Bottom. Riders climb aboard SpongeBob-inspired bamboo baskets and experience an interactive combination of rising, dropping and spinning movements, surrounded by spectacular glowing jellyfish theming.
The attraction was specially re-engineered by RES RIDES to integrate seamlessly into the indoor venue, combining the unique movement of the Interactive Observation Tower with an immersive themed environment. The result is a distinctive family experience where ride engineering and amazing SpongeBob theming come together in one attraction.
Wave Twister – Adventureland Long Island
RES RIDES also celebrated the opening of the world’s first Wave Twist L at Adventureland Long Island, New York. Named Wave Twister, the attraction combines linear movement, elevation and rotation to create a completely new family thrill ride experience, offering dynamic movements and an experience that changes throughout each cycle.
The project also required a custom-designed structure to integrate the new attraction into the
park’s existing layout. The structure was specifically engineered to allow Adventureland’s existing railroad to continue operating underneath the attraction, demonstrating how the Wave Twist concept can be adapted to challenging site conditions while making efficient use of the available space.
Wilde Hilde – Freizeit-Land Geiselwind
In Germany, Wilde Hilde, our Roller Ball S, opened successfully at Freizeit-Land Geiselwind. Standing approximately 21 metres high while maintaining an exceptionally compact footprint, the family coaster brings the characteristic vertical Roller Ball experience to the colourful world of Tuki’s verrückte Farm.
The Roller Ball S is a real eye-catcher, combining a unique vertical layout with a family-friendly ride experience that guests want to enjoy again and again.
The next chapter
With more than 60 installations installed worldwide, RES RIDES continues to expand its portfolio, while new projects are currently in engineering, manufacturing and construction for 2027 openings.
And there is more to come. RES RIDES is preparing a few major new announcements for IAAPA Expo Orlando 2026.
After new openings on both sides of the Atlantic, international awards and another generation of attractions already underway, the future at RES RIDES is looking exciting.
