Halloween Haunt presented by Snickers returns to Kings Dominion Sept. 18

DOSWELL, Va. — When darkness falls, the screams rise. Kings Dominion today announced one of its most ambitious Halloween entertainment lineups ever as Halloween Haunt returns on select dates beginning Sept. 18, transforming the park into a massive nighttime playground where thrills and scares collide.

As part of Six Flags Entertainment’s largest Halloween celebration in company history, Kings Dominion will feature the debut of DIABLO: The Infernal Path, an all-new haunted maze inspired by Blizzard Entertainment’s legendary video game franchise, five park-original haunted mazes, five immersive scare zones, five live shows, nighttime ride experiences and a completely reenergized entertainment lineup featuring four new shows.

By day, families can enjoy the return of Tricks and Treats, a festive Halloween celebration featuring trick-or-treating, costume contests, live entertainment and seasonal surprises for guests of all ages.

“This fall, Kings Dominion will be the place where Virginia’s Halloween season comes to life,” said Jennifer Schofield, park manager of Kings Dominion. “With the debut of DIABLO: The Infernal Path, four new live shows, immersive scare experiences, nighttime thrills and family-friendly fun during the day, guests can enjoy a complete Halloween celebration packed with energy, entertainment and excitement from open to close.”

After dark, Halloween Haunt transforms Kings Dominion into a world where monsters roam freely, screams echo through the park and every shadow hides something sinister.

Face Diablo, Lilith, Mephisto and Baal as you journey through cursed cathedrals, ancient rituals and unspeakable horrors. Every step along Diablo: The Infernal Path pulls you deeper into the nightmare. Do you dare enter? Experience Hell like you’ve never imagined.

Making its debut at Kings Dominion during Diablo’s 30th anniversary celebration, this first-of-its-kind attraction immerses guests inside the world that has captivated more than 100 million players around the globe. Guests will come face-to-face with some of the franchise’s most legendary demons as they navigate a realm fractured by dark ritual, ancient power and unimaginable evil.

Four New Live Shows Debut This Fall
Halloween Haunt’s entertainment lineup expands significantly in 2026 with four all-new productions that add fresh energy, humor and horror throughout the park.

  • Sink the Jerk — This interactive carnival-style attraction challenges guests to sink a loud-mouthed performer and become part of the show.
  • Skeleton Crew — Watch skeletons perform in a high-energy cirque spectacular where every scream from the audience pushes the performers to attempt even bolder feats.
  • Wake the Dead — Franklin Earl Anderson Rochester is dead and his family has gathered for the reading of his will. What follows is a musical mystery where dancing, drama and audience participation collide. Guests help determine who murdered Rochester and decide the family’s fate.
  • The Witch Sisters — These mischievous sisters bring magic, music and Halloween mischief to Kings Dominion in an entertaining new daytime experience for families.

Returning Favorite: Heads Will Roll
The fan-favorite production returns to Halloween Haunt with even more dark humor and twisted surprises.

Heads Will Roll is back for more and a bit more bloodthirsty than guests might recall.

The fear doesn’t stop at the haunted attractions.

As darkness descends, Kings Dominion’s world-class rides and roller coasters transform into entirely different experiences. The combination of darkness, atmospheric lighting, fog and immersive soundscapes turns every ride into an unforgettable nighttime adventure.
