Thank you to everyone who answered the call and reached out to the U.S. Senators on Friday, March 5.  The Senate passed the American Rescue  Plan Act, but it did NOT include the amendment by Senator Braun (R-In) that would have changed the Shuttered Venues Operator Grant program to provide relief for the fair industry.

Your Association continues to advocate on your behalf and meetings are continuing with top aides of Representatives Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) and Billy Long (R-Mo) along with those of key Democratic Senators in order to introduce the Agricultural Fairs Rescue Act. We will keep you posted of developments and will be asking for you to reach out to your elected officials at the appropriate time.
