Ground breaking with Günter Burger, Chief Technical Officer; Christian von Elverfeldt, CEO MACK Rides; Circus priest and close friend of the Mack family, Ernst Heller; Roland Mack, Shareholder Mack Rides and Managing Partner Europa-Park; Thorsten Köbele, Chief Officer Sales and Marketing; Michael Mack, Shareholder Mack Rides and Christel Mack-Even, Shareholder Mack OHG.

Due to an increase in orders, Mack Rides needs significantly more space for manufacturing and construction. A modern new logistics center on Mauermattenstrasse in Waldkirch, Germany is currently under construction. The modern logistics center where goods are manufactured and prepared for different work stages is expected to be ready by the end of October 2012.

“The great response to and interest in our quality products with the “Made in Germany” seal all over the world encouraged us in our decision to invest in the location of Waldkirch” says Managing Director Christian von Elverfeldt. “It is particularly important in times of a shortage of skilled personnel and reluctance to invest to find expertise in our sector primarily on the domestic employment market.”

With a total area of over 2000 square meters and direct links to the vehicle manufacturing and track production facilities, the company has an important new tool for material flow.

Due to the restructuring of operating procedures and flow of goods it will be even easier for Mack Rides to respond to orders and supply even more, incredible attractions all over the world.
