Carnival Breeze's WaterWorks provided by WhiteWater

Trieste, Italy — Set to sail the high seas for the very first time on June 3rd, Carnival Breeze, the newest Carnival “Fun Ship,” will offer guests a splashing good time with Carnival WaterWorks, an onboard waterpark featuring a signature Champagne Bowl waterslide, an AquaPlay AP1050 multi-level interactive play structure and other exciting WhiteWater attractions.

In 2009, the first Champagne Bowl was created by WhiteWater’s in-house team of experts to specifically accommodate Carnival’s request for an onboard SpaceBowl. Since the SpaceBowl’s splash pool would take up too much deck space, the Champagne Bowl was designed to produce the same thrilling drop, centrifugal forces and wall time, but with a compact, spiral staircase exit.

Breeze will be Carnival’s third Champagne Bowl installation along with sister ships Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic. Carnival Breeze is expected to service Barcelona and Venice on Mediterranean cruises, before making a transatlantic crossing to Miami for cruises to the Caribbean and Bahamas.

Carnival Spirit, popular for its Alaskan, Hawaiian, Tahitian and the Fijian destinations, also recently added another ‘first’ with its AquaDrop installation. The ship was recently docked in San Francisco for upgrades including the installation of a Carnival Waterworks waterpark at sea.

WhiteWater is proud to have a long-standing relationship with Carnival Cruise Lines and looks forward to continuing to bring new innovations onboard!
