LONG ISLAND, N.Y. — RPM Raceway, the immersive racing & entertainment destination has officially set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the World’s Longest Multi-Level Go-Kart Track (indoors). Spanning more than 3,515.7 feet across a two-story layout, the record-breaking MegaTrack debuted today with a special event featuring NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who completed the first official lap on the newly launched track.
The achievement was confirmed during a live ceremony by official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator, Andrew Glass, who presented the certification in front of a packed crowd of racing fans, influencers, local officials and guests. The celebration, sponsored by NOS ENERGY, included a live DJ set, giveaways, and exclusive race access to the newly unveiled track and new fleet of high-performance go-karts and a high-tech experience that blends the thrill of real-world racing with digital gamification.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., a two-time Xfinity Series champion, team NOS Energy driver and winner of the 2023 Daytona 500, kicked off the event by challenging attendees to beat his official lap time, which was an opportunity that attracted aspiring racers and fans of professional motorsports alike.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. shared, “Kicking things off on a record-breaking course like this was an unforgettable experience. RPM Long Island just raised the bar for indoor racing, and I’m excited to be here for it with Team NOS Energy.”
RPM Raceway is redefining the karting experience with the integration of a new fleet of next-generation electric karts powered by R-TECH, RPM’s advanced racing technology platform delivering real-time race analytics, live performance tracking to a steering wheel LED display, creating an interactive racing environment that makes every lap feel like a professional racer.
Andrew Farage, CEO and Co-Founder of RPM Raceway, “Every professional racer gets their start in a go-kart. If we can unlock that passion for racing in our junior racers, then we’ve done something meaningful. This track isn’t just a record-breaker, it’s a launchpad towards a lifetime hobby or professional career. We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with Ricky and the NOS Energy team, and to see him return to where it all started.”
Designed for all skill levels, the new layout offers three tracks with over 40 dynamic corners, high-speed straightaways, underpasses, spiraling ramps, hairpin turns, and drops, creating an adrenaline-pumping challenge for racers with six unique track configurations. The three new tracks can be combined into RPM’s signature MegaTrack, simultaneously accommodating up to 35 racers.
In addition to racing, guests explored RPM’s gaming zone, which includes a Hyperdeck VR arena, arcade games and racing simulators. RPM Raceway now operates four locations across the Northeast, with its Long Island venue setting a new standard in go-karting innovation.
