Teacup ride a hit at Quassy

The new “Crazy Cups” ride was a smash hit among guests at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, Conn., as the lakeside property opened on April 28 for the 2012 season. The new attraction was built by Zamperla Rides of Italy this past winter and delivered to Quassy in March. The park is in its 104th year, having opened in 1908 as a “trolley park,” serviced by an electrified rail line from nearby Waterbury, Conn.
