Kings Island gets ready for spring

A train from the Racer roller coaster plummets down the ride’s 88-foot first drop during a test run Wednesday at Kings Island. The Racer opened with Kings Island in 1972 and has given more than 96 million rides – the most in park history. Kings Island begins its 40th anniversary season April 28. Daily operation begins May 11. The all-new Soak City Waterpark opens May 26 and is included free with park admission to Kings Island.
