Landry's unveils plans for $60 million Galveston Pier

Key suppliers to the new park include: Funtime/REG (20O-foot-tall Texas Flyer); InterLink (Pirate’s Plunge log flume); Gerstlauer/REG (100-foot-tall Iron Shark roller coaster); Larson (Cyclone, a Larson Fireball); Chance Rides (100-foot-tall Galaxy Wheel, Revolution, Sea Dragon, Carousel); Bertazzon (Gulf Glider swings, Rock & Roll, Pier Pile Up Bumper Cars adult & children’s); SBF/VISA Rides 4U (Sky Shooter, Big Wheelin’); S&S Worldwide (Frog Hopper); Zamperla (Texas Tea); Bob’s Space Racers, Coastal Amusements and Siriusware.
The concept for the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier was developed by Fertitta, who worked on the pier as a lifeguard at the Flagship Hotel during his youth. The approximately 1,130-foot pier extends over the Gulf of Mexico situated on 25th Street and Seawall Boulevard in Galveston, Texas.
Landry’s is also home to several restaurants and amusements along the Texas coast.
