Gardaland Magic Winter continues until 6th January 2019; “Magico Villaggio di Babbo Natale” (Santa’s Magic Village) is this edition’s fantastic new addition

Christmas holidays are fast-approaching but festive lights have already been shining for a while at Gardaland thanks to Gardaland Magic Winter, the evocative event – scheduled for 22nd, 23rdand 24th December and then uninterruptedly from 26th Decemberto 6th January 2019 – where the Park is enwrapped by an enchantingChristmas atmosphere, allowing Guests to keep enjoying all the fun of Gardaland even during the winter season.

The fabulous new addition of this Gardaland Magic Winter edition will bethe great Magico Villaggio di Babbo Natale (Santa’s MagicVillage) positioned in the heart of the Park, in Valley of Kings square.The village will let you set on an interactive journey into the magic world of Christmas, thanks to its five themed rooms: the wonderful Minimondo,offering the same privileged view that Santa Claus can enjoy during his sleighrides; the enchanted Foresta di Ghiaccio(Ice Forest), magically lit and full of many fantastic characters; the Laboratorio degli Elfi (Elves Lab), wherechildren will be enjoying treats surrounded by newly created toys; the Ufficio Postale di Babbo Natale (Santa’s Post Office) and his Casa del Polo Nord (North Pole House), wherethe younger ones will be able to meet their beloved Santa Claus.

During Gardaland Magic Winter the main Rides will remain accessible and the Park will besetup with an enchanting theming: fun will be sporting its winter outfit, withfairy tale scenarios courtesy of beautiful decorations, marvellous lights and dazzling Christmas trees. It will be great fun to move from the Colorado Boatto the Valley of Kings Square aboard rafts, only to meet the ice rink that will allow visitors torelax and attempt fantastic acrobatics to the tune of the most famous Christmas carols; in the very same square an entertaining games area on snow for the younger ones will be setup at the feetof Ramses il Risveglio (Ramses the Reawakening)

TheChristmas atmosphere will be emphasised even more by the Magic Winter Band which will be playing all those typical ChristmasCarols across the streets of the Park, while visitors will be climbing aboard the Christmas coach, pulled by a real horse, for an evocative walk. The younger ones will be meeting Peppa and George inside Peppa Pig Land or Po and Tigress insideKung Fu Panda Land to exchange Christmas wishes and to take souvenir pictures with them, sporting, if they wish, fantastic facial makeup drawn by the Park’s makeup artists.

And what Christmas would it be without a Christmas Tree? Children and adults alike will be amazed by the Alberodi Prezzemolo (Prezzemolo Tree) show in the Fantasy Kingdom area, decorated for the occasion by 4,000 metres of luminaries for a grand total of 80,000 lights spots; the tree will be  set alight every evening at 6 PM during the ending ceremony with a great end-of-day show which will culminate in an abundant, exciting snowfall.

To make the event even tastier there will be plenty of sweet offerings, originating from all the dining solutions of the Park. The traditional banquets of the Valley of Kings square will be enriched by kurtos – typicalHungarian puff pastry desserts, which resemble the little chimneys of aChristmas village, cooked on the spot by the highly skilled staff and personalised by Guests with many different types of grains. The most eager ones will also be getting their hands on maximarsh mallows of nearly one meter, luminous candy floss, hot chocolate of the most delicious kind, chestnuts, almond pralines, Christmas biscuits and vin brulé (mulled wine)! To finish off, restaurants will be offering a traditional yuletide dish.

During Gardaland Magic Winter numerous will be the themed shows that will let Guests totally immerse themselves in the fantastic Christmas atmosphere of the Park alongside friends and family.

As per tradition, the opening of the gates will seethe beloved Prezzemolo – accompanied by dancers – welcoming Guests and involving them from the get-go in the magic Christmas atmosphere with the new soundtrack of the show “Welcome to Gardaland MagicWinter”.

Gardaland Theatre will be playing host to a great new Christmas spectacle with live songs, spectacular choreographies, fabulous costumes and international artists which will be performing incredible acrobatic numbers. The true protagonist of those festivities will inevitably be on hand: Santa Claus; at the Teatro della Fantasia (Theatre of Fantasy) Pass Pass the fantasist will be presenting to adults and children his new, entertaining show full of stunts, surprised and comedy… with a touch of poetry as “icing on the cake”.

The “5 Elements” show will be, by popular demand, still part of the Palatenda schedule, having recently wonthe award as Miglior Show Indoor (BestIndoor Show) during the Parksmania Awards 2018, the Oscars of Amusement Parks. The new addition of the season’s schedule, “5 Elements” offers a journey across the 5 elements with acrobatics, special effects and video-mapping capable of involving and surprising all Spectators. Finishing off the day in joy and happiness will be as usual the merry Magica Parata di Natale (Magic Christmas Parade) which will be travelling across the streets of the Park, finally reaching the Fantasy Kindgom area for the beginning of the ending ceremony.

Throughout the duration of Gardaland Magic Winter, purchasing an entry ticket to the Park will entitle to the possibility of accessing also Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, where the captivating Christmas atmosphere will continue thanks to the theming of theAquarium.
