NASHVILLE, Tenn. — AIMS International is searching for candidates for the Executive Director position currently held by Karen Oertley who plans to retire in April of 2019.

AIMS International is non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association with a mission to improve amusement industry safety through leadership in education. The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the association and events including the annual AIMS Safety Seminar, AIMS On the Road outreach programs, and the Annual AIMS Safety Award.

Qualified candidates should have a background in the amusement industry with experience in event management. Along with a demonstrated passion for the mission of AIMS, the position requires excellent organizational and communications skills with competencies in sales and marketing, management, finance, and business development. Non-profit association experience is a plus.
